Game Time International CEO Derrick Boles is considered one of the best motivational speakers in the Treasure Valley. Coach Boles is a magnet to those looking to change their lives for the better. It can be on a personal level or a professional level. As a coach, he knows how to build a successful team and incorporate team building skills within a business, organization, sports team, and other faucets of life. He utilizes his own life experiences and educational background to move you towards a more positive attitude and energy level.

Background

Derrick has been a member of the Treasure Valley community since 2001. After a four-year stint as a professional basketball player and coach in Australia, Derrick and his family moved to Nampa, Idaho to be closer to family members in Fruitland. Prior to living in Australia, Derrick spent two years playing professional basketball in Japan and Taipei, Taiwan.

Education

After attending Idaho State University in 1991, Derrick finish his undergraduate work at Huron University in Huron South Dakota. Derrick has since earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management and has a BA in Human Services with a minor in Psychology.

Professional

During his professional career Derrick has worked in high profile positions serving as a professional and college basketball Head Coach, Director of Basketball Operations, and Coordinator of Admission at Treasure Valley Community College. He has also worked as a business consultant for one of the largest national business consulting firms. Currently Derrick works as an executive with Payne Financial Group and serves as the CEO of Game Time International.

Vision

As the Founder of Game Time International, Derrick's vision is to encourage the development of at-risk, amateur and elite youth utilizing athletics and entertainment as a medium for mentoring, educational, and leadership training. In addition, Derrick is working with the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Developmental league Idaho Stampede helping develop NBA prospects with professional development. He also worked with the Boise Burn as a motivational speaker and team-building exercise facilitator.

Derrick is married and has two children.
